Discover the principles of creating outstanding cover art by using intermediate Cinema 4D techniques.
With the growing popularity of streaming services, such as Spotify, Apple Music and many more, the demand for digital cover art is larger than ever. But while some cover artwork designers struggle, others create extremely effective design and win long term clients this way. In this course, we are taking a look at what I’ve learned in 12 years of working in the music industry as a 3D designer. We will start by exploring the branding psychology behind effective designs and ways to create your own composition by using grid systems. We’ll also explore texturing inside Cinema 4D and the techniques of creating different moods. We’ll have a close look at the rendering process and in the final part, we will focus on the compositing on our scene that will enhance our render even further.

Where can I find Cinema 4D?
You can find Cinema4D here. The trial version will be sufficient to work with for some time, but we highly recommend buying a license.
What renderer will be used in this course?
I will explain how to do basic render in native Cinema 4D render software, but most of the time we will use octane. You can find more information about this renderer and download the trial version of it on the official website.
What system requirements are needed for Cinema 4D to run smoothly?
Minimum System Requirements for Cinema 4D:
Windows 7 SP1 64-bit or higher on Intel/ AMD 64-bit CPU with SSE3 support
MacOS 10.11.6 or 10.12.4+ with 64-bit CPU running on Intel-based Apple Macintosh 4 GB RAM (8 GB or more recommended)
OpenGL graphics card supporting OpenGL 4.1 (dedicated GPU recommended)
The GPU renderer requires:
NVIDIA or AMD graphics card on Windows or AMD on MacOS that supports OpenCL 1.2 or newer.
Will this course work for me if I know nothing about Cinema4D?
Yes, the course is suitable for beginners.

How long does it take to successfully finish the course?
Up to 3 month. We highly recommend spending at least 2 days practicing after each lesson. In this tempo, you will require at least one month to finish this course.
What if my level of English is not good enough and I find it difficult to understand the spoken language?
This course has subtitles, which makes the content easier for understanding and lets you check the unknown words in the dictionary, if needed.
