Discover the workflow of a professional 3D project
Lucas Casagrande, art director and producer of Motion Graphics, will teach you how to organize and make a 3D flyer for an electronic music event using the Cinema 4D program.
In this course you will learn basic aspects of 3D such as the process of organizing folders and visual references in the preproduction phase, up to modeling, rendering and final presentation of the project. All this, under a commercial approach, that is, applying a methodology that allows us to make changes during the entire work process as required by the client.
About this course
You will begin by getting to know the work and influences of Lucas Casagrande, especially his connection with the world of electronic music, cartoons and the MTV channel.
Next, Lucas will briefly review the necessary keys to organize any type of 3D project (folders, effects, references, dates ...) and its application when working with Cinema 4D. This step will help you later when adapting the piece to other supports quickly.
Once you familiarize yourself with the previous structuring, you will elaborate your own piece starting from a moodboard and a lot of visual references that Lucas will help you find. In addition, at this point, you will learn some professional composition tricks, the different ways to apply a render and the uses in high and low quality.
Next, you will model some extra elements, learn to scale objects according to the proportion and use of certain materials and define the final composition of the project using the blocking methodology (a procedure for sketching the main poses of the action).
To finish you will see Lucas put the lights and cameras in the final composition and you will learn to export the project, render it and apply the last post-production touch-ups with Photoshop.
