We see those holograph style elements everywhere these days. You only need to look at any futuristic screen to see the glowing techie-bits that are meant to dazzle the viewer, while describing how advanced the future will be. There are lots of ways that you can put together holographic elements, from 3D to 2D. Here to walk through his method, is GlassHand Films Artistic Director, Brandon Clements.

Brandon shows how you can create futuristic holographic elements in Cinema 4D, using tools such as Mograph Cloners, and other C4D native tools that really lend themselves well to this visual style. The elements are rendered in C4D using octane, and then composited with more effects in After Effects.
