Learn how to tame those textures.
I know, it’s not the sexiest title for a tutorial.  But, if you’ve ever had trouble getting your textures to line up just right in Cinema 4D, this will help you out immensely.
UV mapping is one of those things that you can get by without for a while, but eventually you’ll run into a situation that requires it and you will REALLY impress people if you can do it. Your textures will improve a lot and you’ll have groupies chanting your name. One of those statements is true.
